CLASS CARDS Purchase class cards at reception prior to class. It is your responsibility to bring the class card to each class. Class card must be presented or casual class fees will apply. Card may be used by more than one person with permission from
card owner. Lost cards will not be replaced. BUY NOW ONLINE UNLIMITED MONTHLY PASS Terms and Conditions: Student must show photo/signature ID at the time of sign in. The Pass is only valid for use by the person named on the card. Pass must be presented or casual class fees will apply. Pass is not valid for use with any special promotions, courses,
master classes or workshops. Pass is valid for 1 month from the date of
purchase only. PERFORMANCE COURSE FEES Students enrolled in Caramell Performance Courses must pay at
the Commencement of each 10 week Course, this covers the crew training
session on Fridays only. Students are required to attend one additional class
per week (pay as you go). 2010 Performance Course Start dates: Term 1 – 8th January 2010 Term 2 – 19th March 2010 Term 3 – 28th May 2010 Term 4 – 30th July 2010 Term 5- 15th October 2010 GIFT CERTIFICATES Caramell sell gift Certificates, They are available in $30, $50, $100 Amounts and are a
fantastic present for anyone that loves to dance. Gift certificates can be redeemed on Classes, Clothing, Courses
or Workshops. Gift Certificates
are Non Refundable and must be used in one sale. No Change given. MONTHLY COURSES Caramell run monthly courses for 4 weeks, starting at the
beginning of each month. In order to take part in these courses you must book ahead and
pre-pay $60 at reception or online. Fees are non refundable if you miss a class, and due to the
nature of the course it is not
possible to start mid month. CARAMELL JUNIOR SCHOOL Caramell TinyÕs Classes These classes are designed specifically for children aged
between 3 to 5 years old. The classes are structured and revolve around the
principles of creative movement. The children learn simple exercises and
movements from various forms of dance. They also learn basic foundation which
helps build coordination. All the movements are kept simple and easy to
follow and the emphasis is on fun. Our TinyÕs teachers have a passion for
working with children and are highly energetic and engaging. They are also
well rounded dancers who are versed in many different dance styles. Our
TinyÕs classes include Baby Ballet, Baby Hip Hop & Tiny Moves. Caramell Junior Classes Caramell Junior Classes are designed for 6 to 9 year olds. It is
our goal to provide the perfect class that suits your childÕs dance needs.
Our teachers are very experienced and have a passion for working with youth.
There is an emphasis on learning and fun at the same time. Our classes are
run on a casual basis or you can purchase a class card (multiple classes) for
your child. We currently teach Hip Hop, Jazz, Tap and Contemporary classes
for Juniors, which are conveniently held after school and on Saturdays. Caramell Youth Classes Caramell Youth classes are specifically designed for 10 to
14year olds. In these classes we build on the foundations, further develop
your childÕs coordination and teach more complicated pieces of choreography.
Our classes are run on a casual basis or you can purchase a class card
(multiple classes) for your child. The styles that we currently teach
include: Hip Hop, Jazz, JFH, Breaking, Contemporary, Lyrical & Tap which
are conveniently held after school and on Saturdays. Junior/Youth Performance Classes Caramell Performance Class takes your childÕs dancing to the
next level. We teach your child how to perform on stage and we work on
developing their star quality. We also provide performance opportunities that
help build your childÕs self confidence. Performance classes require a three
classes per week commitment so that your child can accelerate and diversify

of your questions. LEVELS Absolute Beginner: is for people that have never danced before or think they have
2 left feet! Beginner: is for people that have basic awareness of how to co-ordinate moves
at a steady pace. People should progress to intermediate after 3-6 months at
beginner level. Intermediate: is for beginners that want to start challenging themselves with
varying speed and rhythms. Advanced: is for people that have been dancing for at least a year,
expect the unexpected. Open:
means all levels are catered for and the choreography and pace of the class
is dependent on skill level of students that attend. Performance class and crews: Are not open, entry via Audition only! UNIFORM A range of dancewear is available for purchase from Caramell
Reception. The following class requirements are: Hip Hop / Breaking / Popping / House / JFH We recommend that you wear whatever you feel comfortable in such
as Caramell Tracksuit Pants or Long Shorts, T-Shirts, Singlets or Hoodies,
Suggested footwear includes supportive sneakers or street shoes . Jazz Caramell Tracksuit Pants, Tights or Shorts, Singlets & Black
Jazz shoes. Ballet Leotard, pink ballet stockings and pink ballet shoes. Tap Caramell Tracksuit Pants, Tights or Shorts, Singlets , T-Shirt s
& tap shoes Tango Light, comfortable clothing and regular street shoes with a
leather sole (slip-ons, thongs and trainers are not suitable). Ladies should
wear heeled shoes with ankle strap support and closed toes. Lyrical / Contemporary Singlet/Leotard, Loose fitting pants or tights, Bare feet or
ballet shoes/foot thongs. STUDIO HIRE Caramell offers 2 studios, which are available to hire. Both
studios are fully equipped with mirrored walls, sprung wooden floors, natural
lighting with floor to ceiling windows, air conditioning, ipod/laptop/CD and
mp3 compatible stereo systems. The studios are suitable for most dance rehearsals and
accommodate approximately 30-50 people depending on the style of dance. All bookings for studio hire are to be paid for in advance.

PRIVATE LESSONS Caramell Dance Studio offers private lessons in all of our dance
styles. These lessons can be booked for one on one tuition or for a group of
your friends. Private lessons provide individual attention and can be tailored
for special occasions. Prices range from $75 -$120hr depending on style,
instructor and number of students. All private lessons are booked through Reception, phone 9557
0886 for more information. FAQ When do you break for holidays? Caramell classes recommence Monday January 4th 2010 and close
for Christmas/New Year on December 19th 2010. Caramell Classes (Open and
Junior School) run every day of the year excluding Easter Public holidays.
Check the website as we may offer special workshop classes over the holidays! Where are you located and how do I get there? Please visit our Location page IÕve never danced before where do I start? The best place for you would be any of our classes marked
ÔBeginnerÕ level. Note that Open Classes are also for beginners, although
there are mixed levels in the class the teacher will break it down
individually to each student to get you to the next level. Do you teach Private Lessons? Yes, please contact us on 9557 0886 to book. What is the class procedure? First of all please arrive 10-15 minutes before your class
starts to allow yourself time to prepare for your class, everyone must sign
in at reception, if you are new there is a little bit of paperwork that must
be completed before you enter the studio. Our classes normally start with a warm up, you will learn a
number of steps in the chosen dance style, some choreography may then be
taught and performed by everyone. Lastly, if time allows a nice cool
down/stretch at the end of each class. I want to Audition for your Performance Course/Crews. We normally hold auditions at the commencement of each 10 week
course. However if you think youÕve got what it takes to be in a performance

Occasionally an instructor/choreographer will teach a routine that could go
for 2 weeks, so when this happens it is handy to have attended the previous
week as it acts as a continuation class the following week, but this happens
very rarely. The only other time that our dance instructors will go over
previously learned choreography is during concert times. This happens twice
per year. We normally give a lot of notice on our noticeboards, hand-outs and
our website when this is happening so the public are aware of the class
